Well i had class today and took a nap! i was tired. last night i went to dinner at anna lisa's friends house. they live literally 2 minutes walking distance from where i live. the apartment\house was GORGEOUS!! so nice. the dinner was delish...we had pasta with pesto greenbeans and potatoes in it, then some mixed veggies and pork, and some great caramella thing and fruit and pastries that i brought over. Chiara is the woman's name, she was so sweet....her husband is Paolo and he was nice as well, i think they are in their 50s probably. paolo's mother was also there, i think she lives with them, and she was really nice and cute too....she used to live in the country and was telling me some stories. they were really nice to me and we spoke only italian and altho they spoke pretty quickly i understood almost everything for the most part and learned some interesting stuff! she sent me home with some desert and i believe we will get together again. they have a son andrea who is a year older than me but he was not at home last night. maybe i will meet him sometime and he can give me some tips about siena!

otherwise everything is great around here and this month of classes is flying by for me, february is short as it is. i hope to go visit anna lisa this weekend and next weekend some of my friends wanted to go to chianti so hopefully we can do that! i woke up this morning and there was a light dusting of snow on the roof tops!! so weird. the weather has been fluctuating here...its been somewhat cold but i am not complaining. today i had to run down to the atm quickly (very close to my house) and i did not grab a jacket so i had on just sweatpants and a 3\4 length shirt and i was getting such stares!!! it was not cold to me but everyone here bundles up for everything and thought i was crazy!

i am at an internet cafe right now so i m gonna go i just wanted to check in!
